Building Immunity in Accordance with Nature

Ahara refers to the optimal nourishment of the body. Ayurveda emphasizes the importance of a balanced diet that includes all six tastes- sweet, sour, salty, bitter, pungent, and astringent. Consuming seasonal fruits and vegetables and staying hydrated is also essential. It is advisable to avoid processed foods and consume fresh and organic produce.

Shareera refers to the bodily constitution that represents the balance of three doshas (Vata, Pitta, Kapha) in the body. According to Ayurveda, understanding and maintaining the balance of doshas is critical in maintaining overall health. Ayurveda recommends a custom diet and lifestyle for each individual as per their dosha composition.

Satmya refers to healthy habits and rituals. Ayurveda believes that following healthy habits is crucial in maintaining overall health. This includes eating, sleeping, and working at the right time and exercising regularly. When we are in sync with nature, our body is better prepared to fight illnesses.

Satva refers to a positive mind frame that helps in maintaining overall health. According to Ayurveda, mental endurance is essential in maintaining the right frame of mind. A healthy mind leads to a healthy body. Practicing meditation, yoga, and breathing exercises can help in achieving a positive mind.

Svabhava refers to the natural disposition of the body, which needs support, care, and vitality. Ayurveda suggests massaging the body with herbal oil, consuming herbs and natural supplements, and practicing gentle exercises like yoga, walking, and swimming.
